Elie Wiesel

Everyone has heard of the horrendous period from 1941-1945. This was known as the Holocaust, which was the racial extermination of approximately six million European Jews during humans warfare II. Jews werent the just people killed during the Holocaust. It also included, Gypsies, German citizens in the Underground Army, Jehovahs Witness, Nonconformists, Muslims, and homosexuals. There were few survivors during this period, and of the few in that respect was a Jew named Elie Wiesel. He survived through Gleiwitz, Buchenwald, Auschwitz, and Buna. He clearly was a satisfying man. Wiesel was born September 30, 1928 in a townsfolk called Sighet in Transylvania, which was part of Romania. The family consisted of four children. Wiesel was the middle child and the only son, fleck the eldest sister was Hilda, then Bea, Elie, and Tzipora. His parents ran the shoe shop, piece the sisters helped with.
